An international program focused on international business practices, management, marketing, and communication.
Upon completion of the BBA, students will be able to apply business-oriented skills and knowledge in practice. They will have mastered a range of both theoretical and practical knowledge. In addition, they will identify the management skills and requirements they can develop as part of their future studies.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

BUS101 - Introduction to Business  (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course will introduce students to business management. It will begin by covering business theories to provide students with the foundation necessary to understand how a business operates, with an emphasis on theory. This section will be followed by a study of theories related to management and leadership.  Accounting and finance are of paramount importance to a business; these topics will be addressed in the context of their overall functions and practical applications.  Operations management and effective communication are essential to a business’s success, as are formal activity reports, which clearly and concisely present the specific aspects to be considered in managing a business. The course will conclude with the writing of a formal activity report designed to showcase the student’s communication skills.

FIN101 - Introduction to Finance (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

The “Introduction to Finance” course provides students with the fundamentals needed to evaluate the best use of funds to support an organization’s investment and financing objectives. The concepts of the time value of money, investment risk and return, investment budgeting, financing, and valuation will be covered.

MGT101 - Introduction to Management (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

Students will examine the functions of a business in relation to cultures and social expectations, as well as the potential implications of how a business operates, taking into account political, economic, technological, and ethical factors within an organization.

ECO101 - Introduction to Economics (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This foundational course explores the basic principles of economics, bridging theory and practice. It provides a general overview of the economic world.

COM101 - Communication Skills (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course teaches students the rhetorical principles and practices necessary for communicating in professional contexts. It is designed to provide them with the knowledge and skills they need to communicate effectively in the 21st-century workplace. Students should see a noticeable improvement in their communication skills, particularly in terms of clarity and precision.

MKT101 - Introduction to Marketing (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This introductory course will cover the fundamental principles of marketing, with a strong emphasis on practical application. It will provide an overview of the decision-making process and marketing techniques.

STA201 - Introduction to Statistics (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This is a foundational course on the application of statistics. In this course, students learn to apply statistical techniques to various applications in the fields of business and the social sciences. They learn to solve statistical problems both by hand and using computer software. Topics covered include probability density functions, sampling distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, and linear regression.

MGT201 - International Management (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course examines the influence of culture and strategic planning on the international operations of multinational corporations (MNCs).

BUS211 -  Business  Law (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

The objective of this course is to help students understand the connections between law and business. It provides a general introduction to the legal framework and helps students develop a basic understanding of the key principles and standards related to contracts, civil liability, labor law, and health and safety.

 MKT201 - International Marketing (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course covers various aspects of international marketing and explores a range of strategies.

ETH304 - Business Ethics (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course offers undergraduate students the opportunity to explore personal and organizational integrity and accountability in relation to business, social, and legal issues.

MGT302 - Globalization (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course will explore various political, economic, cultural, and social changes that have transformed—and continue to transform—our world through globalization. Technological advances have interconnected continents through the flow of information, trade, capital, people, and cultures. Multinational corporations and political organizations have grown in size and influence, as have the social movements that help shape policies. In addition, this course will examine globalization and its impact on the world as perceived by people from all corners of the globe.

COM302 - Virtual Communication (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course examines the aspects and developments of virtual communication in today’s society and professional environments.

MGT301 - Intercultural Management (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course introduces students to the main aspects of intercultural management.
It is undeniable that today’s managers are increasingly required to work in international and intercultural environments. They are now faced with challenges, friction, and misunderstandings arising from intercultural differences. More than ever, effective management requires intercultural skills to get the most out of multicultural teams.
The course is divided into four modules: “Management in the Age of Interculturality”; “What Is Intercultural Management?”; “Intercultural Business Etiquette: Bridging the Cultural Gap”; and “Case Study Analysis.”

CAP300 - Capstone Project (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

A final project on a topic chosen by the student, which will demonstrate the application of the principles of international business acquired throughout the program

COM201 - Cross-Cultural Communication (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course presents all the fundamental approaches that enable international business professionals to interact with different cultures in an appropriate manner.

MGT202 - Leadership Theory and Practice (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course explores the evolution of leadership, its complexities, its applications, and its future.

BUS201 -  International Business  (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

The objective of this course is to help you understand how businesses operate in a globalized context. It will explain how the political, economic, and legal systems of different countries—as well as their cultures—influence business practices in the context of international trade. This course will also cover the benefits of international trade, the various instruments of trade policy, and the reasons behind the creation of regional trade blocs. It will delve into topics related to foreign investment decisions and introduce foreign exchange markets, global capital markets, and the international monetary system. This course will also cover the strategic approaches needed to enter a new market competitively, as well as the various possible modes of entry. It also explains how business functions (such as marketing, human resources management, operations, and corporate finance) are managed within an international company. Finally, this course will address the nature of the ethical challenges that companies face when operating in an international environment.

BUS202 - Decision Making (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course will introduce students to the main aspects of decision-making.
The course is divided into four modules: the definition of decision-making; creating an environment conducive to decision-making; decision-making approaches and strategies; and a detailed analysis of the decision-making process.

EMK301 - Internet Marketing (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course examines the aspects and trends of Internet marketing in the digital age.

COM301 - Conflict Resolution (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

Conflicts in the workplace can significantly undermine the quality of work, particularly teamwork.
If not managed properly, they can quickly escalate, leading to dramatic situations where cooperation breaks down and the team’s mission is threatened. This course is divided into four modules:

- What is conflict?

- What are its causes?

- How can conflicts be prevented?

The skills needed to resolve conflicts; and conflict management tools.

DBA 671 - Emerging International Market10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

The purpose of this course is to provide graduate students an opportunity to explore and evaluatethe challenges and opportunities associated with developing strategies for international emerging markets.

OWC301 - Organization of World Consumption (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)

This course introduces students to the organization of global consumption in relation to history, politics, economic interests, society, culture, and various globalization processes. Students will explore the origins of needs and desires in the context of the expansion and emergence of disparities in terms of poverty, wealth, luxury, and marginalization. They will also examine how the increase in the consumption of goods, ideologies, and services produced around the world has given rise to new global cultures that constitute the diversity of the global economy.
