COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course explores the theoretical aspects of leadership as a sociopsychological phenomenon. It examines traditional approaches to leadership as well as current schools of thought that analyze it from various perspectives. Theories from the social sciences are studied in order to conceptualize leadership and the process by which it is applied in contemporary contexts.
PHD820 - The Future of Leadership (10 ECTS/4 US Credits)
This course explores the future directions of leadership in an increasingly interconnected and globalized world, with a focus on opportunities and challenges. Topics covered include the experiences of contemporary business leaders as they grapple with technological and managerial issues.
PHD822 - Ethos of Leadership (10 ECTS/4 US Credits)
This course analyzes the psychological, social, and cultural determinants of personal leadership development. It focuses on the characteristics of the leader as an autonomous actor, rather than on the leadership process itself.
PHD720 - Intelligence in International Leadership (10 ECTS / 4 US Credits)
This course focuses on the perspectives and methodologies related to research in global leadership. It presents the major trends in academic research on leadership in various social and professional contexts and prepares students to successfully carry out their own research projects in this field. Issues and challenges related to leadership are examined in various geopolitical, sectoral, and regulatory contexts.
PHD810 - Project
The final project is designed with the program supervisor and it requires to apply the skills learned in practical environment that is relevant for ou and that demonstrates your ability to apply concepts learned.
It can be a paper, a portfolio, a film, a mini-book, a presentation, or an other type that suits the need.
Process of Online Program :
There are no classes. Students follow the program by reading the course materials and completing assignments, which must be uploaded to the Moodle platform—accessible 24 hours a day. Please note that the use of AI is prohibited and all assignments will be checked for plagiarism
All work is graded by the professor dedicated to each course, and the final grade is an average of these grades.
Three mandatory Moodle modules must be completed test before the program can begin.
